This sweet (and crazy) boy wanted snow over Christmas break so bad he could taste it. Pete the weatherman had predicted maybe some flurries in the beginning of Dec and Sam heard this and just knew it would happen. He talked about it quite a bit and I had to remind him that we live in Texas and we just do not get that kind of weather that time of year. But he held out hope. And look what happened on 12-28
He came running into our room yelling "it snowed, it snowed, it snowed" We were surprised, so I reluctantly got up (it was early ugh) and just about laughed. Poor kid, he really needs to live up north!
He was already dressed and ready to head outside. I noticed that there was more "snow" in the backyard so off he went to make snowballs and "build a snowman" (molly chose to stay inside with her fuzzy, warm pj's and fleece blanket)
he had to hurry and "play" with the snow because it was melting fast
there were snowballs
for some reason he thought he did not need gloves?!?
and at last, the best part of our "snowfall"...
"OLAF"
