Snow Snow, Snow-- our White CHRISTmas remains

So the coughs were better (not gone,)  but better.  We couldn't deny the kids the opportunity to play in the snow.  We had fun, we ran, we rolled, we threw snowballs and we build a snowman, the only thing that was missing was a sled and a hill (oh, the childhood memories)
 Sam had a ball

Molly had to think about it,

apparently the snow burns when it touches skin...

Yes, this snow ball was for me

 a snow angel
our pathetic snowman--- he lost his head a few short hours later
proof that our little friends are still around---  and yes, I had to warn Sam not to eat (or touch for that matter) any yellow snow!!!

Merry CHRISTmas

It was a record breaking heat on 2 separate days-- 80 and 79 degrees.  Pete was saying it could be a white CHRISTmas, but it is just too hard to believe around here... We woke up, we opened our CHRISTmas presents, we ate some lunch and then we heard it--- and saw it---  it really was a WHITE CHRISTmas!!!  How fun, how beautiful, what a perfect ending to a perfect day!!!

We got our wish for a White Christmas in Frisco, TX! Started snowing right after lunch and has not stopped, It is beautiful. Going to curl up with my family and enjoy the day.

Merry Christmas to all! ~ Kelly

We wish you a Merry CHRISTmas morning

We were tired, we slept in and woke up looking a mess, but that did not matter---  it was CHRISTmas morning!!!!

Stockings first

believe it or not, this is a happy, surprise face!
opening gifts is so much fun--especially when it is something you want!
she wanted it, she got it... it is BIG-- did I say BIG?!
sometimes together gifts can be a good thing!!!
what a wonderful Christmas, not only do we have a wonderful family, we have our health and happiness.  We are so incredibly blessed, God has been so good to us.  But the best thing is the fact that Christ came to this earth as a baby, and died for our sins so that we can spend eternity in heaven with Him!  My prayer is that these two beautiful children that God gave to us will open their hearts, confess their sin and live for Christ.  It is my job to teach them the way, pray for them and guide them.  This is what CHRISTmas is all about, the reason we have it, to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
